Dancing Feats Staff

Lisa Schwartz, Director, Owner, Dancing Feats

MBA, Wayne State University. BA, Michigan State University.
Certified by Dance Educators of America and Musicworks Teacher Training.
Miss Lisa, a native of Farmington, has been teaching dance in the Farmington area for over 30 years. She has trained extensively under Al Gilbert and uses his Tap Syllabus. She has also taken Master Classes with many Legendary Dancers: Henri LeTang, Savion Glover, Cholly Atkins, Pat Rico, Dianne Walker, Debbie Dee, Darryl and Thommie Retter, Janice Barringer, Greg Russell, Anthony Morigerato, Ray Hesselink, Michelle Dorrance, Maud Arnold, Germaine Salsburg, Offer and Ben. She owes her original teacher, Betty Johnston, much credit for getting her started in teaching dance.  After many years of studio ownership, Miss Lisa decided to turn the business over to Elizabeth Boggon and the studio was renamed Ambassadors of Dance.   Miss Lisa continues to teach at the studio and also still operates Dancing Feats as a "mobile" dance program, teaching at various charter and Montessori schools in the area.
